Do you take insurance?
Magothy Therapy & Wellness is an out of network provider. Our services are reimbursable by most insurance plans. We recommend reaching out to your insurance company to verify your out of network benefits. Here is a form you can use as a guide when contacting your insurance.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?
Magothy Therapy & Wellness does NOT require a referral from a provider. If compression garments become part of your treatment plan, we will need a current and supportive provider to sign off on the form.

Will paying out of pocket cost me more?
Not necessarily. You actually may save money in the long run & you'll get better care! Most insurance companies require co-pays to be collected at traditional therapy offices and you may also have a balance following your sessions. These traditional models typically advise patients to attend OT 2-3x/week and your therapist could be treating ~2 patients simultaneously.

With our model, we tend to see patients one at a time, 1-2 times per week for one hour. You're provided a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement, which may make your overall out of pocket cost close to or less than a copay when using a traditional model.

Our model will likely cost you less BUT provide you with more effective care, decrease your treatment frequency & overall optimize your recovery faster!

What types of payment do you accept?
Credit Card, Check, Cash & HSA
You pay your therapist directly at the time of service. You will receive a form to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
